Datatables
Viewers Field
In a Buzz, the viewers field defines view permissions on each Datatable result row. Viewer field is a security mechanism that restricts the records from a Datatable based on the authorization context of the current user that is logged in. This is usually done to allow specific users to have access to their data only without permission to view other users’ data.
Permissions
In the Results tab of a Datatable, the designer can set which roles are allowed to view and delete records. These values can be overriden for a specific field.
Field Logging
Checklist and Selectlist field types in a Datatable provide an option for logging clicks. If specified then Buzzy adds a ‘Show log’ link for owners/authors.
Embedded Datatable
When embedding a Datatable inside another Datatable, the child permissions are not inherited into the parent.
